Frustration/Tried/Stressed
So things are going well, don't get me wrong. But I am tired. I have the largest show that we put on, and this show is my first show and I leave in a week. I am beyond tired, I am stressed, and I have no releaver. I go to work, and I work. Then I come home to eat and work or think about it. I just really wish my friend mike and I had day off together so we could watch stupid movies and have a beer. Or I wish we could have a beer after work like we used to. But between his work, my work, and him getting ready for his wedding, we will be lucky if we get to see each other once before his wedding. There is always exercise though, right. But when you run, or blade - you think. Usually when I blade for a long period of time it is when I need time to think things though. But I don't want to think. I am tired of thinking. I am tired of waking up at two in the morning and thinking about what needs to be done before I leave for the show. Well in a little less than two weeks I will be able to sleep and be stress free.
Okay, off to work on work. Luckely today, I am working from home.

The Wedding
Reception was nice. We did the intros and stuffed our faces with food! Renae's dad, Mr. Cole, wanted pics with the Emmy, Sones, and I - he enjoyed us in High School. We were always at his apt for lunch. Then he spent his time trying to find me a guy. It was hysterical, he would introduce me to people and then share - during the intro- whether or not they were single. It would crack me up. I think he buttered up the bestman, Josh, enough to dance with me for every slow song after I made Mr. Cole dance with me. Renae had a collage of pictures, which I would have to say were rather embarrassing. But is was fun to reminice. As for the dancing. For most of the night it was just Emmy and I out there, the amazing dancers that we are, and after a while Sones was out there every song as well. Josh, and some guy named Brad would come out and show off for everyone about every two songs. During the band's last set, the wedding party plus the parents were out there. So all in all, it was a great day, and now our little Renae is married. Next will be Sones. As for Emmy and I, we are hopeless! Sorry em - but it is true.
Elevator Boy
Okay - back to work I go. I will post pics later! (not of the boy - but of the wedding)

Drama
Any who this maid of honor, we call her bitch. Now I know that is mean, but I a sorry, it is fitting. At the rehersal yeasterday, the wedding arty was at a table (we most of us) and the groom and bestman were talking to emmy and I, lisa was there, but she was keeping her distance. The bestman asking where is a good, laidback plae to go. So Emmy and I thouh, why do we start at the roost - quiet, pool, darts, lots of tables to talk, and dancing for those that like it. The bestman, since he was from Ohio asked if I would pick him up - Emmy and I were together, so we didn't see a problem with it. We thought we were doing something nice - and everytime we asked the Bride what she wanted to do, she didn't care. When we mentioned starting at the roost - she was game. So emmy and I go to Victor, pick up the groom, bestman, a groomsman and his fiance and head to the Roost.
Anywho, for some reason this made he "bitch" (maid of honor) upset and about 45min into our night, she went off on emmy telling her they her and the bride didn't want her there. DRAMA. So emmy gets up to leave, about to ball - I walk over and say "where are we going next?" Emmy mumbles something about with the bitch said, and I nicely informed the guys that emmy and I are leaving - the bride is shocked and runs after emmy and I go up to the bitch and say "BE NICE!"
Any way - it took an hour to calm emmy down. So we left - and I spent an hour talking to the bestman - who was tryign to help. But we just supervised, and butted in when needed. Anywho. Good thing I hada key to my brothers apt - because I need a place to go. Well off I go shower to go meet up with the grils.
Cross your fingers for a drama free day!!

Song
I Hate Everything
He was sittin’ there beside me throwin’ doubles down
When he ordered up his third one, he looked around
Then he looked at me, and said, “I do believe
I’ll have one more.”
He said, “I hate this bar, and I hate to drink
But on second thought tonight I think I hate everything.”
Then he opened up his billfold and threw a twenty down
And a faded photograph fell out and hit the ground
And I picked it up, he said, “Thank you, bud.”
I put it in his hand
He said, “I probably ought to throw this one away
‘Cause she’s the reason I feel this way
Why I hate everything.”
CHORUS:
Why I hate my job, and I hate my life
And if it weren’t for my two kids, I’d hate my ex-wife
I know I should move on and try to start again
But I just can’t get over her leaving me for him
Then he shook his head and looked down at his ring
And said, “I have everything.”
He said, “That one bedroom apartment where I get my mail
Is really not a home, it’s more like a jail
With a swimming pool and a parking lot view
Man, it’s just great.
I hate summer, winter, fall and spring
Red and yellow, purple, blue and green
I hate everything.”
REPEAT CHORUS
So I pulled out my phone, and I called my house
I said, “Babe, I’m coming home, we’re gonna
Work this out.”
I paid for his drinks, and I told him “Thanks.”
Thanks for everything

Chinese Bowling
When I left work, I was back in my work-focus mode. So the security guard informed me that he thinks I need to date. I was shocked by this statement. Yes, he sees me every day, but he barely knows me. For all he knows, I could have a boyfriend. But I don't - so I was dumb founded, what do you say to that??? My co-workers Matthew and Derek were behind me and got a big kick out of that one. THANKS EDDY! (the security guard)
Oh and Willy - I thought of you the other day. While rotating my tires, I thought of the night we were changing your flat tire at our old apt! Ahhh, the good ol' days. :)

Radomness Part 2
When I got home, this lady had the front window of her car covered in beanie babies. Now that is a little too much, don't you think. Who would want to ask out a girl whose car is covered in that crap. Thank goodness I never did get into them. I feel bad I have a monkey fetish, but at least I am not crazy about it. I have monkey's here and there, but not EVERYwhere.
You know what I hate. All day, you remember that one thing you have to get at the store. Then on your drive home, you remember you need to stop, but for what - you don't know. So you don't stop. Now tomorrow at work, I will be going along with my normal routine - getting nothing done until about 4:30, and while you are doing what ever it is you are doing, you remember. You might think to write it down, but you will write it on a paper that just happens to be in front of you, so when you go home, again you don't know where you wrote it or what you needed. All well, as long as I have what I need, I guess I will be okay.
Another thing...so I am at a red light, again, driving home today and there is this homeless person asking for money. Now I am doing good paying my bills and getting by with everything going on this year. And there is this guy smoking a cigerette begging for money. And then it hit me...this jerk had enough money to buy a cigerette - something that will eventually kill him - but can't afford food. And he wants us to give him money. Get a job jerk! Haven't they heard of gas stations, McDonald's, etc.
Okay, well I am off to put one of my fly friends into an envelope and mail him to an exterminator to see what they are. I do feel bad, me and my fly friends are becoming such good friends. We eat together, sleep together, watch tv together, hey - we even shower together!! But it has been long enough, it is time to say good-bye!

Home Sweet Home!
The day went fairly well. We talked the whole flight there, forgetting we had yet to do our homework before getting to the show, so we winged it. We got to the Javits Center and walked around meeting people, and chatting whenever possible. It is interesting how many men were there compared to girls. For the most part, I would have to say Barb and I were the only girls there. As we were walking, I noticed all these guys had mini basketballs - I wanted one! I stopped one guy and asked where he got it, and off we went. We got to the booth, and you were given three chances to make a basket, if you make it you get a basketball. Now this sounds easy, right? Yea, try it in heels and a skirt - not so easy. It was amazing how much a suit jacket and heels can throw you off, but don't you worry, we both made it in two shots and got our balls! Once we did that, we were done with the expo and still had about three hours to kill before we needed to head back to the airport. We had a late flight - just incase it took longer to walk the show floor.
So shopping it was. We walked down 34th street, and we got plenty of funny looks, but I don't blame them - I would have to say we did look fairly odd walking down the street all business like then carrying our cool basketballs. Back to the shopping. I have to say, I am very dissapointed with the fall look this year. I am going to have to stay with my jeans and sweatshirts, not that I really ever strayed from that to begin with, but this 70's look coming back, yea I am not really digging it. Although, we did stop in Ann Taylor Loft, and there were some great sales. If I had any money, I would have bought some really cute sweaters. But I was content with my basketball.
The flight home was rather humorous. Barb and I had dinner before we got on the flight. Dinner included a beer, and since we were already extremely tired, that beer just added to our fun. We got on the plane - still getting weird looks, and it was like a sauna in there. We were dying of heat. So Barb starts fanning her face with the barf bag, then proceeds to read it. I am sorry, but I am never thought "hey, I should read the barf bag" while I am sitting on the plane. Yea, sounds odd, but it was funny at the time.
All in all, it was an extremely long day, but a funny one as well. Now I am home and the heels are off, yes my feet hurt like no other, but at least they are finally off, and I am off to bed!
G'night all!

Randomness
Today, I would have to say, I have been is a pretty cheery mood. Not sure what has gotten into me, but I need to snap out of it. I don’t want people to start thinking I am nice! I am completely overloaded at work, yet I am sitting here smiling about it, and taking the time to write this.
A co-worker just told me I am dressed dainty today, he said I looked like I was about to go out on a coffee date. Not sure how to take that given I have never been out on a coffee date, and if I ever did have a coffee date, I wouldn’t wear this. I would probably be in my jeans and a tee. Who wears a skirt and heels on a coffee date?? I have done coffee with friends, and the best I have worn was khaki’s. When he said that I just said thank you and kept on walking – then when I got into the hall, I laughed. Not sure why, but at the time it was funny.
Tomorrow I head to NYC for the day with a co-worker. I am looking forward to the flight there, eating lunch, eating dinner and the flight home. Not really looking forward to the show. I have no clue as to what I am doing. I thought I was just going to see what a show actually looks like, but now it sounds like I have to have verbage with me about our upcoming shows, and I don’t know what to say. I can tell them about the conference end, but booth sales – not so much. So I have lots to learn on the flight there.
Okay, so last night I get home from work, and I decided my place needs cleaning. I haven’t been home much, so it is messy. I cleaned for maybe five minutes until I decided I need to take a break!! All this traveling, and with work being so overwhelming, I have just been so out of it. So I crashed. I crashed hard. I think I was sleeping by
Have you all read enough random thoughts?? I can keep going, but you are lucky, I need to get back to work.

Home sweet Home
I can't really complain though. I do get to see my friends, friends that mean a lot to me. Although, on saturday I called Christine to find out she is back at her home and not in Rochester - you still suck for that by the way! This weekends trip was for my friend Kari's bridal shower. I haven't seen her in about a year and a half. We both moved out of Rochester on the same day, how odd is that. Any who, so I spent saturday with her. We had fun. At night we went line dancing at the Roost! I haven't been there in years, obviously, but it was great to be out there dancing again. We, Kari and I, made complete fools out of ourselves, but we had a blast doing so. We got there, dressed more prep and not in the typical linedancing apparel (jeans, boots, and a tee), so we had couple looks. But then the guys found us to be fun loving girls, out to have fun just like the rest of them. Well there was this guy that just would not stop staring at me, so I clung onto Kari. Finally, after an hour he came up to me and asked me to dance, I said no and thanked him for the offer - the last thing he needed was for me to step all over his feet trying to figure out the steps! There were twin guys behind us that laughed at my answer, and we stuck by them the rest of the night. When they went out to dance - we went and tried our best. I would have to say we did the best when we did the couples dances, I was the guy and Kar was the girl. yea - we sucked, but we are positive we will be receiving a call any day now asking us to go on a dancing tour!!!

One Business Trip - 3 Kids
On tuesday, Barb and I went slipper shopping during lunch. Our office is extremely cold, and that my friends, make you feet VERY cold - so slippers was the answer. Now we were being good, looking for classic, black slippers. We went to hects and could not find comfortable, decent slippers, then I turned the corner and found our new slippers. There were four different styles to choose from! I love a choice in comfortable slippers. There were monkey's, duckies, cats, and poodles. Now these slippers had hands and feet that hung off to the sides and big heads with poofie hair - it took us a good 5 minutes to stop laughing and only 30 seconds to decide we HAD to have a pair. So we bought three pair, one for her, one for me, and one for our friend T back at the office. So we go back to work all gitty, and as soon as we stepped foot into the office - bam - professional. (You never know who is going to be there when you walk in!) So we make it back to our desks, throw on ours and run to T's desk to surprise her with her pair. Again, we laughed. I went back to work, but then I hear this quacking - I was like T, what the hell is that noise? She goes wizzing by me to barb's office and her face is beat red in laughter. I ran in after to learn that our highly professional slippers make noises! The duckies quack, the cats meow, and then there were my slippers - the monkies - oh my gosh, they let of the most obnoxious monkey cry that lasts at least 10 seconds. I was on the floor crying I was laughing so hard. Just imagine three girls, dressed in business apparel with these loud slippers - it makes our stressful, beyond hectic days fun.
Now, of course in the office we are professional, but outside the office, that is a different story! Shane is just loud and funny, and when you put Barb and I together when we are ready to have fun, we are like to 5 year olds and these slippers are going with us on our roadtrip to Philly, and Shane will be bringing his Taz slippers to fit it. Granted we will be on our game when we need to be, but we can not wait to have a little fun being kids together! It will be like giving three kids each their own hotel room for a night - with no curfew, and lots of soda and candy! ROADTRIP!

New Start
So all in all, the past three months have been interesting - getting used to new job, move to a new state, and now, back to the single life. All of my friends are either in New York or Virginia - so I have my work cut out for me. Virginia, it was easy to meet people - I worked with people my age. Maryland is a different story. I enjoy the people I work with - but no one is really my age to see out side of work. They all have their families to go home and care to - but I do enjoy all the stories I hear through out the day. Anywho - new changes bring interesting times. So now is my time to soak it up and make the best of it. This means - off to meet people, but where? Not at the bars, because then you just get the creeps? Ah, Virginia! Back to see all my friends who live 45 minutes away. Oh yea, and don't forget all the lovely weddings I have "back home" - I have my friends to catch up with there, and that is always a good time.
Well that is enough for me. I am off to be a professional again for another 9 or so hours, then back to being a kid!

Good Morning
I hate alarms. They never go off when you want them to. You might wake up at 5:30am and be awake enough to get up, but its not time yet. You lay there and lay there watching the minutes go by. Then as soon as you are getting tired and you start to doze off, the alarm goes off. At that point you realize you will be cranky all day because your stupid alarm went off. Then there are the mornings it just goes of far too early. The alarm never takes you into consideration. I think alarms should pay more attention to their masters. We may set the alarm to 5:30am one day, but do we really want to get up that early?? But then there is the job factor. You need to be there by a certain time. Now there they go, trying to run your life by demanding this time of arrival. They are just as mean as alarm clocks.
Now I shouldn't be talking. I don't have to be at work until 9. But for the most part, I try to get there early. I like to go in, have my cup of tea, and slowly roll into it. Oh, and if my phone rings before 9:15 at work - it best be important. For some time, the same person was calling me at 8:45 EVERY morning. I finanlly got to know him well enough where I could say "George, it is 8:45, what are you doing at 8:45?" He laughed, and now he will call that early just to get a good laugh with me in the morning. SERIOUSLY though - no need to start work that eary!
Okay, now that I have blabbered enough, I have to get my butt in gear for work. I am going casual, today at 5:30 starts my vacation baby, and if you think I am staying ONE minute over - you're nuts!
Sean, Willy, Tim, and Christine - I will get a picture of Kyle not burned for ya! And I can't wait to see you all on the 29th. Oh, and my friends Mike and Kellie (my old manager and his finace) might hang with us that night. They will be "home" too!!

Dr. EVIL
I have a couple friends out there that think they are sooo funny. Well let me tell you, it is revenge time baby! Now those of you, who have seen this picture of me, might think it isn’t bad – but it is the story behind it. This is the picture that comes back over and over again to haunt me – THANK YOU DAD. You might have thought it was funny for each of you to post this picture on your blogs at the same time – but just remember I will be getting each of you back. And Christine – don’t worry, I will find something, something good, I have a great imagination! Willy – remember we lived together – I love numerous things I can do to you. Sean, we’re good friends – I didn’t need to live with you to come up with retaliation. Kyle – you’re dead! The sweet Kelly is gone! You best start watching your backs. I know where you all live, Charlie and P-Nut too!

SLACKERS!
We’re slacking People!! There are three people who don’t seem to understand how to create a post. It is real simple – you click on “create post”, type in that little box that appears, if you choose – spell check (I opt to overlook this option) and then click “publish”. I know I know, you three (Willy, Mike, Marty) have troubles with this, but really, it is simple. We just want to know how you are doing. What you thought of a commercial you saw or hear about your dream from that cat nap you took. Just a hello, we aren’t asking you to write a novel – just a little blurb here and there so we know you are still out there. Willy, how many times do we have to read “Pack your suitcase
Okay, I best get back to wedding planning and work. After this year, I don’t think I will want to hear the word wedding for a very long time!

Love Fern
Friday, I invited Mike over for dinner, a dinner that I would be cooking. I go to the store and get chicken wings, and green beans. Since I have a grill now, I wanted to make wings on the grill with green beans and noodles. Now somebody warned me that chicken takes a long time to cook, so I should pre-cook it. I kinda forgot that part, but since these were wings, I figured we would be okay, it isn’t like they are breasts or thighs or something big, they were little wings. Yea, I was wrong – they took FOREVER to cook. The first batch of two came off the grill an hour later. So we each had one. Then about ten minutes later, another two came off, so we had that batch with noodles. The third batch we had with the beans. The fourth batch – noodles again. Fifth batch, just the two wings. Buy this point, we were getting a little full, plus the coals were getting cold. We ended up broiling the rest of the little wings and sticking them in the frig. I even had desert, so all in all, I would have to say, we prepared an elegant 10 course meal. OH! One more thing. Mike spilled my beer. Now that is just wrong. He has spilled water before, but beer, you just don’t do that.
Okay, Well that is about it for me. Off to bowl – I need to beat a 279.

Words
I would have to say, the conversations being had lately aren't the best. They have really been bothersome. At one point, it was guys complaining about girls. They take to long to get ready, they would like to know about things in advance, yet they want a spontaneous guy. Then it is someone being called stupid. So here is my post.
NEVER do you ever call someone stupid, or an idiot. It is completely unacceptable. That is something that will always stay with that person. I could probably tell you every person that called me stupid. All it does is tare apart that person's self esteem, and it makes them back off and never want to see that person or even think about that person again.
People are letting the most hurtful things come out of there mouths. What ever happened to respecting one another? Helping one another? It seems like all the meaningful things are going down the drain, and all that is left is the hurtful information that you will never be able to forget. Everyone has been told that there is no stupid question or the stupid questions are the ones never asked. Well each day more and more of that is proven wrong. You call someone by the wrong "name" and you have lost what could have been the best friendship/relationship that you would have ever had.
All I ask: Respect one another. Watch what you say; realize how hurtful things can be. Your tongue is the sharpest tool - use it wisely.

Summer Time BBQ's
Summer time is when the BBQ's take place. Who wants to grill out by themselves - yea, not me. What fun is that? You want to share a couple brews with your friends and family, share stories and enjoy a nice game of football or frisbee. Then of course there is a hug feast coming off the grill that everyone enjoys, how can you not?!
This morning I woke up very hungry, due to my HUGE dinner last night. Although, it was a delicious one. My parent's neighbor took us to this nice seafood restaurant for dinner. We all HAD to order our own appetizer (no sharing), then eat the salad and then meal that came. I was STUFFED! But I left with a smile on my face!! Anyway, back to my story...so I get up and decided what needed to be done today. I had to make a return at Target. Since I was there, I figured I should look around a little, it was the least I could do. I remembered I needed some tables for my patio - so I headed off to the outdoor section. Found the tables and the grills! I talked myself into buying a grill. It was a tough convincing on my part: "Kelly you NEED a grill. If I must, I must." So I bought a cute grill. I say cute, because, it isn't full size, but it isn't a table grill. It is the perfect size grill for my little patio! I came home and put my grill together, then decided I needed to test it! So I invited my parents over for a BBQ, after all - it is Sunday, and Sunday's are family days. We had corn, sausage, and hot dogs on the grill and grandma brown's backed beans to go with them. Then for desert I made a Southern banana pie. Very yummy dinner and it was a perfect test for my grill! It did extremely well!
On a side note - It was fun watching this bug fly right into the fire, and then go under the coals. You could here him screaming trying to find his way out. What a dumb bug! IDIOT!

poo
The past couple days have been frustrating. I took 6 apointments with Comcast to get my cable and internet installed. The fist 5 they never showed up and neglected to inform me that they wouldn't be coming. They had difficulty actually hooking everything up and in the end Mike came over at 12:30 last night to install the internet and make help move my tv back to where it belongs since Comcast moved and and did not put it back. Anywho, long saga but it is now over with. I don't want to even call them or hear their name anymore.
Work is work. Nothing really new there. Lots to do. We are three months away from our Maritime show, so the stress is building again. Right now I can't wait to go home and go to bed. Make some mac and cheese, zweigles hot dogs and put of comfy clothes and do NOTHING! Sounds perfect. Man, I would leave now if i could.
Lunch today was interesting. Shoe shopping with the office manager Ana. I didn't want to go with her alone, so I made this new girl Kerry go with us. Kerry and I ended up looking all over Lord and Taylor for 45 minutes looking for Ana. We were hungry and wanted to head back to the office to eat - but nooooooooo sir - it was shopping whether you wanted to or not! Ana spent 45 min in a dressing room trying on clothes. It would have been nice if she told us. I am glad it is over, but it took all my enegry to go. Now I am just thinking about my couch!

Attack of the Spiders!
Mike and I had just gotten back from the three day weekend at his parents house. He helped me carry my suitecase into my apt and we got joking around. We were laughing over the lines from Madagascar - which, again, was very funny! As we were sitting there laughing, I heard this long, loud noise. Now to me, it sounded very much like the loudest fart I have ever heard. (Sean, louder than yours. Kyle, same to you.) I looked to Mike, and he then told me I have snarling spiders! I didn't know that! When I moved in, I didn't see any spiders of such sort - but I was wrong. I have them. Luckely when they snarle like that it doesn't smell, but man, I was about to blame Mike for what this loud spiders did. This was the first and the last time I have heard these spiders. I just hope that they don't show up again - man that noise was LOUD!

My Three Day Weekend
My long weekend was a good one. Very relaxing, which is what I needed! I spent my weekend at Mike’s parent’s house. The house, by the way, is a very cute older house that is out in the middle of no-where. Nothing but beautiful scenery. Now I know why he loves his home. On Saturday his aunt and uncle came over with his grandmother. We grilled polish sausages and pigged out! After an early dinner his family left and it was just Mike, Sally (Mike’s mom) and I. His father was out of town on business, although he was greatly missed! Mike and I walked around for a bit, and then the three of us decided to hit up a movie. After about an hour of choosing which movie to go to,
Sunday we went to Church and lunch at his grandmothers. After lunch, we were ready to hit up another movie. We went to see
On Monday, we all slept in a bit, ate a big lunch and hit up another three games of bowling before Mike and I hit the road to head home. It was a very eventful weekend full of nothing but fun. No thoughts of work, just smiles and being free of all sorts of responsibilities.
I hope everyone else had a wonderful weekend. Willy, I am glad you were able to see Billy Kidd; I hope you embarrassed him for me! I love embarrassing him.
Shhh – what was that? Oh, that was me again.

Remember Me!
A three day weekend is coming up! YAY. I am ready for a mini vacation. I was hoping to get out of work early today, but that isn’t happening. But the day has gone by pretty quickly. The morning I sent out speaker invites and in the afternoon I was working on a new shows contract. That brought me to about
Other that my day, not all that much is new. I went to Wegmans last night to get food for my condo. I needed food! I spent a lot of money, but I hope it lasts me a while. Plus I got a 30 pack of beer. It was also good to see some of my friends again and get the gossip – who broke up with who, who is leaving, who is a new hire, all that crap. I don’t even work there anymore, and I still love hearing it. It is fun to hear about your old co-workers and friends.
I will hopefully have more pictures up next weekend of the condo. Well I best get back to signing to all my co-workers, I think they are really enjoying it!

My apologies
Moving is going well. I have all my crap in one place now - but if you need something in particular, don't ask. I will tell you more about it later. I am leaving work now!

Movin'
Movin’ Movin’ Movin’
Well it is going well. I have been getting work done. Dad mostly finished the kitchen on Saturday. I helped until about 3, then I went to meet Mike at the apt to help me bring a load over to the condo. That was exciting! As soon as we get on the beltway to starts to thunderstorm and hale. So there went my mattress, box spring, and dressers. As we are driving, I was following Mike – he is more worried about my stuff, and I am more worried about the thunder and lightning. My music was blaring and my hand over my eyes, never get in a car with me in a storm, especially when I am driving! All in all, we only got one small load in.
On Monday, I borrowed Mike’s truck and met mom and dad at my apt to do another load. The night didn’t start off the best, I had forgotten my apt keys in my car, which was about 45min to an hour away with traffic. Luckily dad say I left my window unlocked, so he pried the screen out and we crawled through. I like to make the move a little more exciting each night! We got his jeep packed with stuff and the truck packed up and was able to get a lot done. The best part – there is a papa john’s near me, and it is REALLY good pizza!
Last night, I did another load. I was able to put my room together, well put clothes away and start to put together the living room. Tonight I will hit the bathroom and hook the TV up to my DVD player so I can watch movies while I wait for cable and internet. So far, this is the first time I don’t mind waiting for cable and internet. It probably helps that I am on the computer/internet all day long!
Well I best get my butt in gear and work since I am at work.

I am due.
I am due. I due to see my brother. I miss him. I think about him everyday, and I am lucky if I get to talk to him once every couple weeks. We work different schedules, so we basically go by the “no news is good news” theory. I am beginning to hate that theory. The weather is getting nicer, and last year around this time K and I went to Canandaigua Lake together in the jeep with the top down. We lay on the docks while our feet dangled down towards to water and we just talked. We talked about getting a sunfish or even a little dingy to have so in the summer on our days off together we would go out on the water and sit. Both of us probably new that wouldn’t happen, but we liked the thought of it. Moving away from K was one of the hardest things I have ever done. And for a while, the longest I would have to wait to see him was two months. We are going on month 5 now – that is a long time. I don’t think I have ever gone 4 or 5 months without seeing him, not even when we were in college. Here is your heads up K, I would like a brother fix!

Some write on politics - I write about what I learn at work
I have been learning some interesting things here at work and I have decided to share them.
The place to go and chat about what bed/mattress you want to buy and who your doctor is or where you got your teeth cleaned is in the bathroom. Every time I go to the bathroom at work, I learn more about people than I really care to know. Girls share who their doctor is, so that is no biggie, but do I really need to know what kind of mattress you are going to buy, who your sales associate was and that the bed is so big they had trouble fitting it through the door – no, I don’t.
People seem to have a lot of free time, and when they are asked politely if they might being willing to help you it is like you are taking them away from finding the cure for cancer. What happened to team work? When you are in your office doing nothing but chatting on the phone with a friend about where you bought your shoes, you should be willing to help you co-worker.
One more thing – we have automatic toilet fluhers in the bathroom, and when they flush it sounds like a guy is screaming. It s really funny, and when you are in the right mood – you start cracking up. Then the others just stare at you, but it is well worth it!
Words of Wisdom:
Sit back, relax and enjoy the show. It really is amazing what you see at work.

My Drive In
I was driving to work today, and a song just popped into my head, you know how that goes. If you went to Camp Stella Marris, you know this song well.
"Shaving Cream, Feel nice and Clean, Shave every day and you'll always be clean"
Isn't that a great song. It just makes you want to shave in the morning!
The other song has to do with diarrhea, and I don't think it is as pleasant, so I will keep that one out of the blog.
I am going to get back to work, I just wanted to share my morning thoughts.

How many Oreo cookies can he fit in his mouth with a gulp of milk before he bursts?
Okay Fleece boy - you need to answer.

I'M GOIN' PRO!
Okay, in all reality - I bowled 106! And yes, if you really must know I was jumping up and down like a wacko after each frame I did well in - but I was excited!! I think I really impressed the guys with my bowling moves last night. A 12 year old was even trying to give me pointers. I didn't mind it when fleece boy or his friends were helping me, but when a 12 year old is teaching you - you really feel like an idiot. But hey, I left with a great BIG smile on my face!!!
Well I best bounce. A friend is coming over for dinner - so I best start cooking. YES I CAN COOK KYLE, SEAN, WILLY, TIM, FLEECE BOY! You guys have no faith in me. I was told I was a good cook! And no mom and dad, it is not mac and cheese and hot dogs. Man, the slack I get for trying to be a good friend.

HAPPY EARTH DAY (yesterday)
This week was a good one. Work is getting hectic. We have a show in three weeks in Mexico City. Lots to do, with little time left. Wenesday and Thursday I hung out with fleece boy and his friends. Wednesday I was able to show off my incredable poker skills. Man, it is embarrassing how GOOD I am. I felt bad for those who were playing with me. Thrusday we went to Clarendon Ballroom (I think that is the name of the place) to see his roomies friends band. I liked them - very good! I think you all would have liked it to. There I was able to show off my amazing talents in the dancing category. Oh yea, no shame there. We did "the shark" and other idiotic things that, of course, made us look cool. Well at least we probably gave people a good laugh - but I had fun.
Well I am off to get my stuff ready to move. (I figured I should start to make the move easy) And to shower. I think Julie and Peter can smell me in germany. (although, that is what I was aiming for!)
Words of Wisdom:
Laugh at yourself. If you can't do that, then how can you walk through life with having any sort of fun?

Home
I miss my brother. I miss his cooking and him doing his brotherly things. Picking on me or getting mad at me over the stupid small things. Or how I love to drive him nuts! It is very difficult to do that when you live far away. Being able to count on him when I just needed my brother.
I miss willy. My old roomie. I miss the late night discussions on Chase-Pitkin while having beers in our livingroom. Or him getting up in the morning all grouchy! And listening for him to come in at 3 or 5 in the morning - it was then I could really sleep since I knew he was home okay.
I miss sean. Having play time with him and Kyle. Going to movies and having him spill buttered popcorn all over me just to see if it would piss me off. Putting Sean and Emmy in the same room to see how long it would take before they started to argue.
I miss julie. All our men (mark, tom, adam, brian - am I missing anyone?). Oh, how they loved our youthful ways. Just remember - The Boy Is Mine because We Were Running Just As Fast As We Can!! Aren't we due for another slumber party?!
I miss my close friends. I miss seeing their faces and laughing with them. But then I think - I am very lucky that I am still in contact with all of them everyweek. Even though I miss them, I have come to the conclusion, No - I don't miss home. This is my home - I am just waiting for those close friends to realize that they need to be here to! (hint hint) By the way, did I mention that is was in the 80's today, and it will be 87 tomorrow?? Just thought I would mention that!

The Mikes Meet
In case my possie is wondering, I have not gotten my fleece back. I go over to steel them back, and Mike sees it coming, and beats me to the punch.
And I have learned something new. I am AMAZING at bowling. Oh yea baby - I ROCK! I am suprised people aren't knocking down my door as we speak asking me to join their teams. We bowled 4 games last night after Mike's league finished. My average of the games was about a 70. Oh yea! I think I need to try out for bumper bowling! Mike gave me like three pointers to bowl better - and three was just too many for one night. But let me tell you, if you need someone to throw a gutter ball - I'm your girl! Just call the Twigser and I'll come a runnin!

Fleece Thief
So yea, the Twigster is doin good. Kinda tired, but pretty wired. I had dinner with 2500 of my closest friends tonight. Okay, well maybe it was my boss and some congressmen and legistlature's and cheif firefighter's from all over. Interesting night. Learned lots - and I got a really neat bobble head. Oh, I also found a new type of wine I like, and when I think of the name I will share it with you. If I don't, your loss cos it was really good!
Well I am off to bed. To bed to bed they said! And to the fleece theaf - I'M WATCHING YOU!

Poop
I have been up since 2:30 and the only productive thing I have done is shower, and that was about three hours ago. I have to leave for work in about 20 min, and I still have to get dress, do the hair and of course paint my face on. Now if I had Napolean Dynamite I would have slept like a baby.
Oh yea. I got a 1 am phone call from some good friends of mine. They called to give me a bad ass name. I got this call from Red, Blue, Trent, and Styles - I mean, who else would call at 1 am! So my bad ass name is Twiggy. Not Farty McBlow, or tons of fun, no sir! It's Twiggy. So if you ever catch me referring to myself as Twiggy, it is because at that time I am speaking of I was a bad ass!
Well I best go make myself look AWAKE.
PEACE OUT.

SU
In case you are wondering, I am really into this years NCAA tournament. I joined in the pool at work, only becuase our CEO gave a 10 minute speach on how he hopes everyone joins in on the fun, then threw a happy hour party to help us get into it. So I did. I put in my $5 and picked my teams, and here I go. So far, I like!
We need a color change...
Okay, well I think I might go be a bum and eat or do some work. Another weekend - I still need to get used to having weekends off. I feel like I have to do something really exciting, so when I go back to work on Monday, and co-workers ask what I did I can wow them. Last week, all I could say was nothing and laundry. This weekend - I am doing the laundry thing again. I need to get a life! Well off I go to get some grub!

THANK YA-WAY IT'S FRIDAY!
Yesterday was NYC. It was a long day. I had to leave for the airport at 5:30 in the morning, and I didn't get home until 10:30 last night. Long day for a two hour meeting. But it went great. Waking up this morning was just not easy to do.
Well I am off to work. Need to beat Michael there to get some stuff done before he pulls me in his office for the day. And since we havn't really talked in a week, I will really be in there the WHOLE day. But he cracks me up, so I don't mind!
Happy Friday All!

Inside my head
OH, wanna hear something else. I'M FAT. I had to call in my measurements to order a bridesmaid dress. The lady I was dealing with told me I needed a size 10! I was furious. I have never been told I needed a size 10 dress before. I like my size 2 thank you very much. The rest of the day it just bothered me. How in the world do you go from a size 2 to a size 10. I talked the lady down to a size 6, and that is what I ordered. It will still be way to big, but hey, it beats a 10. Man, what is the world coming to!
Well I am off to wait for you guys to answer. YOU BEST HURRY, I CAN ONLY BE SO PATIENT!

2nd "date" (if it is called that)
Lets go back, Thursday. We (my neighbor and I) went to Sweet Water for dinner. (Sweet Water is the BEST restaurant EVER) That consisted of good converstaion. Favorite Movie: Braveheart, Favorite Color: Blue, Favorite Disney Movie: Beauty and the Beast. Talked about high school, college and even the challenging topic of religion. This time - not challeging at all. We spoke about mission trips, and where he goes. Lets see what else, we ate lots - filat mignon for me/ribeye for him! After dinner, we drove back home and walked to our doors, I said my thank you very much and he said he would see me on saturday. I smiled and said sounds great.
Okay, now lets go to Saturday. I went to work in the morning then became a bum in the afternoon. My cell rang around 5 and it was him. He asked if I wanted to go to a movie and then dinner. I thought and I thought - do I really want to go to another dinner and a movie with a super nice guy? I forced myself to say yes, and he said 6:45 was the meeting time. So at 6:45 I walked out my door took two steps forward and knocked on his (I thought I would pick him up this time - he mentioned he wanted to show me the curtains his mom made him). I saw the curtains, very nice - props to his mom!, and off to the movie we went. We say Hitch, very good flick. A must see in my books! After the movie, we went to the Olive Garden. YUMMY! He didn't pull a Sean and get meatballs, but I had a good time anywho. We talked about embarrassing moments, favorite youth group event, friends, and the people around us. Then came the part of the evening I hate. The walking to our doors, and what do you do. He told me what time church was, and what time we have to leave by. Then what, do I hug him? what? I said my thank you's and so did he. (I bought the beer at the bar while we were waiting for a table, and the popcorn and soda) Then we stood there for a second and then both turned toward our doors and said goodnight - sleep tight kinda thing. I am way to nervous - I am still the bumbling idiot around him. He is so very kind, and funny - I don't want to say anything wrong. AH
Willy - thank you for taking my phone call. I miss not having you around to depend on (in person). It makes me feel better when another guy approves of what I am wearing. And you have good taste - so I trust you.
Gotta bounce - I have to shower and get ready for church - peace out!

Blog-A-Thon
1. Leave Me a comment saying “interview me”
2. I’ll respond by asking you five questions in the same row of comments you wrote in or on your blog. They’ll be different for each person I interview and from the questions that were asked me.
3. Update your blog/site with the answers to the questions (and the questions themselves)
4. Include an explanation like this and don’t leave anything out but it doesn’t have to be the same shpiel. Is shpeil spelled right?
5. Give other people interviews when they leave you “interview me” notes.
Here are the answes and the questions the kyle asked of me:
1>If you were Wilie Coyote, how would you finally catch the roadrunner, and how would you prepare it for dinner?
To catch the roadrunner, I had to come up with a strategic plan, and luckely, I am GREAT at those! (My crayons and coloring books work wonders that way.) Since you want to know SO badly how I caught the poor guy, I will tell you. I met up with my good friend Harry, Harry Potter that is, and we got chatting. You know how that goes, you say hello to a friend and three hours later you are having your third beer comparing stories. Then he mentioned his invisible cloak - and it hit me! Since Harry and I are great friends, especially after three beers, he let me borrow the cloak. I wrapped that wonderful material around me and walked right up to roadrunner, grabbed his neck and hit him in the head with a brick. I tied roadrunner to a log, then off I went to return what I borrowed and said my thank you's. I couldn't wait to get back to my dinner though. That night, instead of my normal pig roast, I had my roadrunner roast - and I have to say, it was mighty tasty. A must have in my books!
2>Pick a mutant ability from a Marvel movie(XMen, Spiderman, etc.), and how would you use that gift to save ants from becomming an endagered speices?
To help save the ants, I would have to use Wolverine's power. (Just because he is my favorite, even though I don't know how to spell his name!) With the claws that come out of my hands, I would be able to kill off all the animals trying to hurts those lovely creatures. And I would sing a song as I watched those hard working ants dig those tunnels: "The ants go marching one by one, HURAHH HURAHH!..." I am one with the ants! And with my claws, and can protect and provide - meaning scare little mutants and take their snacks then feed them to my little friends!
3>Being a female of the spieces, do you have an emercency pair of pants, which are they and most of all why the heck does someone need an emergancy pair of pants?
Yes, I do have an emergency pair of pants. What is an emergency pair pants, well to me this is the explanation. Every person has pants that are classified as "favorites", and you wear those all the time. But they eventually get dirty, and you need to wash them. Then what do you wear - your emergency pants. The pants that are okay, not your favorite - but they will do for the time being until your "favorites" are clean again. Those emergencies very rarely need to be cleaned since you wear them for a couple hours here and there. I have them, and I rarely wear them.
4>Your on a raft alone in the ocean with Rudie, you have a fishing pole and bait. You dont like seafood, what would you do?
We all know that I love my wittle Rudie! HI RUDIE! (okay, I know he can't read, but I very well can't be rude and not say hello.) Anywho, back to my answer...what I would do is fish, feed Rudie, and as time goes by, I would little by little learn to suffer through eating a meal consisting of trout and other sorts of fish with Rudie. Plus, since I am stuck on a raft for that long, I will become hilusinate and after a while, I might think that I am a guest of Rudie's and he is serving fish for dinner - that way I would have to eat it, that way I don't make the host ( Rudie) feel bad. FISH FOR DINNER - FISH IT IS!
5>Descirbe to me your perfect day-dream car. You can make the whole entire thing up, make and model dont even need to exist, and tell why you decided to include certain features. Reality and the natural laws of physics and economics do not play in this.
My perfect dream car. Are you ready for this one?! My car would be a small car, and it would have a night sky camo look. Inside the car, it would be built like a shuttle, be controlled like a shuttle. This is because it can travel to space. I will be able to land on Jupiter and study the craters and the red hole. This car will have a great camera system to help take pictures of everything I find. It is a very diverse car. Space travel, can hover with no gravity, and has the ability to drive on a street like a normal car. The wheels are made for roads and space travel. And the radio - I can ask it to play what ever song I want when ever I want to hear it. And yes, that mean if I want to hear the same song over and over again for over a week straight - I can! WHO WANTS TO RIDE WITH ME?!

First Week Comes to End
This week...it was my first week, so I spent it training with the girl I replaced. She was a very nice girl, my age, and quicky explained everything I need to know. Well, she tried. The afternoon of Thursday and all day Friday I was on my own. I like it. Right now I am getting used to everything. Barter Agreements, Contracts, writing formal invites to different government officials. This will be a huge learning curve for me, and I will be learning a lot from my boss.
Let me tell you about my boss. This man is very intelligent. He has been doing this for about 15 years, and just excells at it. I believe we will work well together, and he is going to teach me a great amount. I am ready to soak up all that knowledge!
On the fun side! So my first day there, the girl training me asked my if I have seen some movie that was on the Oscars List of Best Film. Now this is me we are talking about! I haven't seen ANY of those movies - nor do I really want to. If I am going to take two hours of my day to watch a movie - I want it to be entertaining to me. Anywho...so I had to answer this question that was asked, and since I am in a professional atmosphere now - I figured I should answer in a more professional manner. So I said: "no I havent, but I am dying to see it, is it good?" (yes, I lied!) But what I REALLY wanted to say was: Nope, but I've seen Nepolean Dynamite! Mom, you should be proud, I was a good girl!
Well, I hope I didn't bore you all too much. It has been a tiring week, but a good one for that matter. I am off, off to Office Depot - I need a brief case and a calender book with the whole year. I have two people's live I have to keep organized - mine and my bosses.
OHHHH Kyle! There is a spell check! haha - never seen that before! hahaha
